Description

Design, implement, and support complex enterprise network infrastructure with a focus on high-availability systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy enterprise-level networks and infrastructure components.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of routing and switching issues in large-scale environments.
• Automate operational tasks and workflows using scripting tools.
• Create and maintain comprehensive network documentation, diagrams, and procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure system reliability and performance.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of industry experience in network engineering, routing, and switching.
• Deep expertise in IP networking protocols: OSPF, ISIS, BGP, TCP/IP.
• Proficiency with Cisco platforms (37xx, 49xx, 65xx, 73xx, 76xx) and associated line cards.
• Scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or Java.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities for complex infrastructure support.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with DNS, HTTP, NetFlow, and network security protocols (IPSEC, VPNs, TACACS).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of DWDM, SONET (OC3/OC48), T1/DS1, and DS3 technologies.
• Familiarity with Ethernet standards (802.2/3, 802.1d), VLANs, STP, and IPv6.
