Description

You will manage day-to-day administration for SAN and storage environments while supporting customer storage projects and migrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAN and storage environments, including space provisioning, zoning, and de-zoning.
• Execute storage migrations, routine maintenance, upgrades, and hardware changes.
• Perform systems administration tasks including server installation, hardening, patch management, and vulnerability reviews.
• Handle storage replication via shadow image and remote replication.
• Interface with vendors to resolve technical service issues and manage major incidents.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of technical support experience.
• Hands-on experience with SAN storage environments (Hitachi, Huawei) and fabric switches.
• Proficiency with VMWare, AWS, Veeam, and Netbackup.
• Experience with storage data migration and configuration.
• Knowledge of on-premises data centers, virtualization, hyper-converged infrastructure, and data backup.
• Technical understanding of the infrastructure stack including x86, Unix, networks, and security.
• Working knowledge of ITSM processes: Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, and Patch Management.

Preferred Skills

• VCP, ITIL, or Microsoft certifications.
