• 3–5 years of experience with information security tools based on NIST standards.
• Enterprise networking and cybersecurity.
• Network architecture, routing and switching, LAN/WAN, and wireless infrastructure.
• Next Gen Firewall (NGFW), Palo Alto, Checkpoint, and GlobalProtect VPN.
• VPN technologies, firewall administration, firewall deployments, and firewall rule migrations.
• Rule-based policy conversion and network segmentation.
• Internet connectivity, cloud networking, cloud connectivity, and data center infrastructure.
• Identity and Access Management, security monitoring, incident response, and vulnerability management.
• Disaster recovery, enterprise security controls, encryption technologies, and access controls.
• Security policies, standards, procedures, and technical controls.
• Security risk assessments, network monitoring, logging, and log collectors.
• Packet analysis, performance monitoring, security alerts, and violation reports.
• IP addressing, VLANs, network diagrams, and schematic diagramming tools.
• High availability, resiliency, scalability, and security requirements.
• East-west and north-south traffic analysis.
• Strong knowledge of security issues, techniques, and implications across computer platforms.
• Experience with Palo Alto or Checkpoint NGFW preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Preferred Certifications: PCNSE, CISSP, CCNP, CCIE
