Description

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN architectures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, and VTP across complex network environments.
• Implement and manage network security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and VPNs.
• Design and support cloud networking solutions across AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, latency, and packet loss using SolarWinds, Nagios, Wireshark, and PRTG.
• Automate network configuration and management using Python, PowerShell, or Bash to improve operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, and VTP.
• Experience with ITIL, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
• Proficiency in Linux operating systems.
• Hands-on experience with firewalls (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet) and IDS/IPS.
• Cloud networking experience with AWS VPC, Azure VNet, and GCP.
• Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SD-WAN architectures and hybrid connectivity.
• Familiarity with network automation and IaC tools.
