Description

You will design, implement, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN architectures.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage routing and switching protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, STP, and VTP across complex environments.
• Implement and manage network security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and network access control.
• Design and support cloud networking solutions across AWS, Azure, and GCP, including hybrid connectivity.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot latency, packet loss, and bandwidth utilization using SolarWinds, Nagios, or Wireshark.
• Automate network configuration and management using Python, PowerShell, or Bash to improve operational efficiency.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Expertise in BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, and STP.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of network security protocols and firewalls.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Nagios, or PRTG.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SD-WAN and load balancers (F5, NGINX, HAProxy).
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS.
