Description

You will design, deploy, and maintain data center network infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Implement and configure routing protocols including BGP and OSPF, alongside switching technologies like EVPN, VXLAN, Spine-Leaf, 802.1Q, VRF, and L2.
• Manage Access Control Lists (ACLs) and Network Address Translation (NAT).
• Develop automation scripts using Ansible and Python to streamline provisioning, configuration, and monitoring.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
• Participate in capacity planning, network security, disaster recovery strategies, and maintain SOPs and Visio documentation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of total experience, with 5-7 years specifically in IT Network Engineering and/or Operations.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in data center routing and switching.
• Deep expertise in Data Center Routing Protocols including BGP, VXLAN, and EVPN.
• Proficiency with Arista hardware (highly preferred) or Cisco.
• Practical experience with Spine-Leaf topology, 802.1Q, VRF, and L2.
• Knowledge of network monitoring and management tools such as SNMP, NetFlow, and syslog.
• Ability to use Ansible and Python for network automation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Arista hardware.
