Description

You will triage and resolve high-severity network issues for a large financial services client, advocating for infrastructure-as-code practices.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Triage and troubleshoot network issues ranging from outages to application slowness.
• Mitigate or resolve internal and external business impact issues affecting the client.
• Advocate for and implement infrastructure-as-code practices within the team.
• Apply deep knowledge of networking fundamentals to resolve complex connectivity problems.
• Apply ITSM practices including Change, Incident, and Problem management.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, security, and architecture.
• Proficiency in Python, Ansible, and SDN programming.
• Expertise with virtual network and security constructs in AWS and/or Azure.
• In-depth knowledge of IP routing, firewalls, load balancers, proxies, and DNS.
• Experience with cloud networking and security constructs, including DMZ implementation.
• Knowledge of cloud PaaS service integration.
• Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCSE certification.
