Description

You will lead the design, planning, and implementation of network technologies for global labs, data centers, and site projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and coordinate network technology implementations based on business and growth requirements.
• Define project scope, develop schedules, and produce detailed technical designs.
• Research and recommend automated approaches for system administration tasks.
• Participate in incident response to resolve escalated issues involving transit lines, cross-connects, and switches.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure using monitoring tools and manage alerting and capacity planning.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of progressive experience in a network engineering support environment.
• In-depth understanding of TCP/IP and LAN switching protocols including STP, VLANs, L2, L3, and QoS.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, HP, and Arista switches.
• Deep understanding of Checkpoint and Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Experience with WAN circuits and protocols including MPLS, DMVPN, and Optimization.
• Proficiency with dynamic IP routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
• Expertise in interfacing with carriers to manage circuit delivery, troubleshooting, and migration.
• Strong internetworking troubleshooting skills within large-scale network environments.
• Experience with SSL VPN platforms.

Preferred Skills

• CCNP certification (CCIE is an advantage).
• Experience with load balancing platforms.
