Description

You will design, build, and maintain complex Cisco ACI and data center networks, integrating them with modern container platforms and security frameworks.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage Cisco ACI fabrics, including VRFs, Bridge Domains, EPGs, and L3Outs.
• Integrate ACI environments with OpenShift, VMM, Cilium, and Isovalent.
• Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Nexus, Catalyst switches, SDA, ISE, and TACACS+.
• Implement network security using Palo Alto firewalls, Zero Trust architectures, and ThousandEyes.
• Automate network operations using Python, Ansible, and REST APIs.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of Cisco networking experience.
• Deep production expertise with Cisco ACI (VRF, BD, EPG, ESG, Contracts, Fabric Policies).
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, STP, Multicast, and QoS.
• Experience with Cisco Nexus, Catalyst switching, and Data Center networking.
• Proficiency in Cisco ISE, TACACS+, NAC, and Palo Alto firewalls.
• Skills in Python, Ansible, and REST API automation.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.

Preferred Skills

• CCNP Enterprise, CCNP Data Center, or CCIE certification.
• Experience with container networking (Cilium/Isovalent) and NIST security frameworks.
• State government or enterprise network modernization project experience.
