Description

You will lead the design, implementation, and strategic planning of data network capacity and infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement short and long-term strategic plans to ensure network capacity meets current and future requirements.
• Develop, implement, and maintain network policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Prepare RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, scope of work reports, and technical documentation for IT projects.
• Manage network asset lifecycles, including component inventory and maintenance documentation.
• Oversee the operation of all network hardware and administer all network and software upgrades.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Network Engineer.
• Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, and RIP.
• Switching protocols: VLAN, STP, RSTP, CDP, ISL, MSTP, HSRP, VRRP, and GLBP.
• Multicast technologies: IGMP, PIM-SM, PIM-SSM, and PIM-DM.
• Firewall technologies: Palo Alto and CheckPoint.
• Load balancing: Application Load Balancer (ALB) and Network Load Balancer (NLB).
• VPN technologies: IPsec, SSL/TLS, and GetVPN.
• Proxy management: Web filtering, application control, bandwidth control, and reporting/analytics.

Preferred Skills

• CCNP or CCNI certification required; CCNA preferred.
• BE in Computer, Electronics, or Tele-communication Engineering or equivalent.
