Description

You will design, implement, and maintain enterprise network systems and monitoring solutions for the operations center.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Update, troubleshoot, and enhance solutions using BMC Remedy, CA/Broadcom Spectrum, CA NFA, and Infoblox.
• Automate routine job functions using Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripts.
• Design and implement new enterprise systems to meet emerging program requirements.
• Monitor and analyze infrastructure health within an operations center using management tools.
• Execute maintenance requests for proactive engineering projects and break-fix scenarios.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in scripting with Python, Bash, PowerShell, Perl, or Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with Network Management Systems such as BMC Remedy or Infoblox.
• Strong understanding of networking principles and ability to troubleshoot OSI layers 1-7 in a COTS environment.
• Knowledge of network monitoring protocols including SNMP, NetFlow, and Syslog.
• Experience working with Web Services APIs.
• Proficiency in Linux OS (RHEL/CentOS) and Microsoft Windows OS.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or IT with 4+ years of experience, or an Associate Degree with 8+ years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an FAA public trust clearance.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle WebLogic, Apache Talend, or Solace Messaging Routers.
• Knowledge of Agile software development and the systems engineering lifecycle.
