Description

You will design and implement complex firewall policies and security architectures for cross-functional teams.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement firewall policies, including rule creation and troubleshooting.
• Analyze data flows to formulate accurate allow/deny policies and validate network segmentation.
• Provide technical leadership and apply expert networking fundamentals to solve security challenges.
• Conduct log analysis for policy creation and segmentation validation.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of overall industry experience, including 8+ years in security consulting.
• Strong operational experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Expertise in networking fundamentals: routing, switching, ACLs, IP/Subnetting, and protocols.
• Understanding of micro-segmentation and secure application flows.
• Familiarity with Python, PowerShell, and Ansible scripting.
• CCNP certification or higher.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• U.S. citizenship required with ability to pass background checks.

Preferred Skills

• Illumio Host Agent experience.
• Prior management experience.
