Description

You will manage and secure firewall infrastructure and large-scale LAN/WAN networks.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, and document firewall infrastructure using Cisco ASA, FTD, FMC, and CDO.
• Manage firewall deployments, rule migrations, and conversion of existing rule bases onto new platforms.
• Design and deploy large-scale LAN/WAN networks.
• Represent network changes at weekly review meetings and maintain updated network diagrams and documentation.
• Manage site-to-site and remote access VPNs while resolving network connectivity failures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience deploying, configuring, and administering Cisco firewalls.
• Deep understanding of networking across all layers of the OSI model.
• Hands-on experience with EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, RIP, VLAN, and TCP/IP.
• Proficiency in reading packet captures using Wireshark or pcap.
• Experience securing large intranets, enforcing policies, and monitoring access.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco models, capabilities, and architectures.
• Expertise in security platform syntax and rule verification.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco certifications (required) or Palo Alto certifications.
• CCSP or higher certification.
