Description

You will design, build, and maintain secure network security infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise across network security design, implementation, and operational support.
• Design, build, and maintain secure network security infrastructure, including NGFWs, VPNs, WAFs, proxies, and traffic engineering solutions.
• Support and assure system design integrity, availability, and safety in line with national and international regulatory standards.
• Investigate, manage, and resolve complex network security incidents, vulnerabilities, and defects.
• Produce and review technical artefacts including specifications, test plans, procedures, and operational documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network security engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with NGFW, VPN, WAF, IPS/IDS, Proxies, and BGP.
• Extensive experience securing complex enterprise network environments.
• Deep understanding of Australian Government security frameworks (ISM, PSPF).
• Ability to contribute to requirements analysis, system design, planning, and implementation.
• Australian citizenship and NV1 clearance required.
