Description

You will design, implement, and manage complex enterprise network and security infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and configure enterprise-grade network hardware including Cisco Nexus, Catalyst switches, and wireless access points.
• Implement VPNs, VLANs, QoS, and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP) alongside Layer 2/3 protocols (HSRP, VRF, STP, LACP, VXLAN).
• Integrate and manage security systems including Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco ASA/Firepower firewalls, IDS/IPS, and SIEM solutions.
• Manage network monitoring and alerting tools for proactive incident response and performance troubleshooting.
• Maintain detailed network diagrams, IP schemas, and configuration backups while ensuring compliance with NIST and ISO 27001 frameworks.

Required Skills

• 10–15 years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking and security roles.
• Technical proficiency in Cisco Nexus, IOS-XE, NX-OS, and Cisco ACI fabric.
• Expertise in routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, and deep understanding of TCP/IP architecture.
• Hands-on experience with security tools: Firewalls (Palo Alto, Fortinet), SIEM (Splunk), and IDS/IPS systems.
• Proficiency in core networking concepts: HSRP, VRF, STP, LACP, and VXLAN.
• Experience with network automation, traffic management, and application delivery tools like F5 BIG-IP and HAProxy.
• Familiarity with Data Center networking, including vPC and VXLAN EVPN deployments.
• Ability to conduct threat modeling and vulnerability assessments against network infrastructure.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
