Description

You will lead the logical design and architecture for Palo Alto firewall implementation, reviewing the existing hardware environment and current network setup. You will provide guidance on best practices for deployment and optimization, supporting high-level configuration planning and limited hands-on deployment. You will design multi-site connectivity for three additional locations, advising on VPN tunneling protocols and secure network integration. You will collaborate with the internal Network Architect and Administrator, offering input on Cisco infrastructure integration and recommendations for scalability and long-term support.

Responsibilities

• Review existing Palo Alto hardware and current network infrastructure
• Lead logical design and architecture planning for firewall implementation
• Design multi-site connectivity and advise on VPN tunneling protocols

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network security or architecture
• Deep expertise with Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama/PAN-OS
• Strong knowledge of VPN and tunneling protocols
• Experience with multi-site network architecture
• Ability to integrate security solutions with Cisco infrastructure
• Strong collaboration skills with Network Administrators and Architects

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to HPC environments
• Familiarity with Teamcenter or NX environments
