Description

You will own the implementation and maintenance of network security solutions within a large-scale organization.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain firewalls, web secure gateways, network admission control, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM.
• Implement security solutions that conform to published standards, including PCI/DSS, NIST, ISO, and CIS.
• Develop detailed implementation and reversion plans for all network changes.
• Participate in architecture design discussions, risk assessments, and strategy meetings to meet business requirements.
• Execute changes during approved maintenance windows, including nights and weekends, and participate in a rotating on-call schedule.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting Palo Alto firewalls.
• Extensive experience troubleshooting hybrid networks containing multiple vendor technologies.
• Proven experience designing and managing PCI/DSS compliant networks and identifying relevant network segments.
• Deep understanding of the OSI model and routing and switching protocols.
• Technical expertise in at least three of the following: Network Segmentation, Secure Web Gateways, Next-Generation Firewalls, Network Admission Control, Hybrid Cloud (AWS, Azure), Wireless Security, DDI (DHCP, DNS, IPAM), or VPN.
• Working knowledge of IPS/IDS, SIEM, PKI, TLS, EDR, and Threat Intelligence platforms.
• Proficiency with IPsec and GRE tunnels, RADIUS, TACACS+, and VRFs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Networking, Cybersecurity, or a similar field.

Preferred Skills

• Industry recognized Network Security Certification.
