Description

You will lead the development and technical direction of network security services, managing a team of engineers to design and sustain security products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of individual contributors in designing, developing, and sustaining security features.
• Define technical direction and serve as the primary focal point for developer services.
• Plan and deliver features across multiple projects, managing resource allocation and timelines.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, setting clear expectations on deliverables and costs.
• Drive operational excellence through process improvements and mentoring.

Required Skills

• 6-10 years of experience in network security software engineering.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols: HTTP, DNS, TCP, UDP, SSH, and RDP.
• Proficiency in Go, Java, and C++ for backend development.
• Experience with cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS deployment models.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, microservices, and distributed computing.
• Proven track record of people management, including hiring and performance coaching.

Preferred Skills

• Strong DevOps background with experience in release management and CI/CD pipelines.
• Full-stack development fluency and design thinking capabilities.
