Description

You will design, implement, and maintain global production networks, including IP backbones, data centers, and edge PoPs. You will own the release pipeline for network changes, ensuring continuous availability and security across all services.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain global production networks, including IP backbones, data centers, and edge PoPs.
• Implement network security policies across routers and firewalls to ensure secured network solutions.
• Manage global production networks and ensure continuous availability of all data network services.
• Perform quarterly proactive network testing and investigate capacity-related issues.
• Mentor the network operations team on installation, configuration, and maintenance.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of network engineering experience, including routing and switching.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with automation tools and languages: Ansible, GitHub, Java, and Python.
• Experience with Microsoft applications such as Excel and Visio.
• Ability to work 1-2 evenings to implement production changes.
• Must be able to work on-site in Irving, TX.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SD-WAN and cloud technologies like Azure or AWS.
• Proficiency with network analysis tools such as Wireshark and Sniffer.
