Description

You own the engineering and integrity of the networking and communication system's software, hardware, and configurations.

Responsibilities

• Identify, engineer, design, and program networking infrastructure and communication applications.
• Develop knowledge base documents and conduct knowledge transfer across the engineering team.
• Assist in reviewing and evaluating project requests, recommending appropriate actions.
• Administer installation and repair services.
• Provide first-level problem resolution for all health system locations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of relevant network experience including hands-on configurations and operational support.
• Extensive hands-on experience with routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP.
• Strong understanding of Wireshark captures.
• Hands-on experience with Google and Azure Clouds is a must.
• Proficiency in programming language Terraform.
• Proficiency in code management tool Git.
• Experience with Cisco ASA Palo Firewalls VPNs and Citrix Load Balancers.
• Strong problem-solving skills regarding VPC peering/VPN concepts and troubleshooting.
• Ability to navigate log-explorer and filter on flows in question.
