Description

You own the engineering, integrity, and operational support of the networking infrastructure and communication systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, engineer, and program networking infrastructure and communication applications.
• Administer installation, repair, and first-level problem resolution for all health system locations.
• Develop knowledge base documents and conduct knowledge transfer across the engineering team.
• Review and evaluate project requests, recommending appropriate technical actions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of relevant network experience with hands-on configurations and operational support.
• Extensive experience with routing protocols: EIGRP, BGP.
• Strong understanding of Wireshark packet captures and traffic analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud and Azure Cloud environments.
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Proficiency in Git for code management.
• Experience with Cisco ASA, Palo Alto Firewalls, VPNs, and Citrix Load Balancers.

Preferred Skills

• Strong problem-solving skills regarding VPC peering and VPN concepts.
• Ability to navigate log-explorer and filter on specific flows for troubleshooting.
