Description

You will build, scale, and maintain backend APIs and microservices using Node.js, ensuring clean, secure, and performant code delivery.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable REST APIs and microservices in Node.js.
• Manage cloud deployments and CI/CD pipelines on AWS or Azure.
• Optimize database queries and system performance for PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define technical requirements.
• Ensure secure authentication and authorization using JWT and OAuth.

Required Skills

• 7+ years building APIs and backend services in Node.js.
• Deep understanding of REST, JWT, and OAuth.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and MongoDB (relational and NoSQL models).
• Proficiency with cloud deployments on AWS or Azure.
• Experience with CI/CD, containers, and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Kafka and pub/sub systems.
• Basic frontend framework knowledge (React, Angular, or Vue).

Preferred Skills

• AWS or Azure Certifications.
• Strong SQL optimization skills.
• Experience with Jenkins and CloudFormation.
