Description

You will design, develop, and maintain high-quality, well-tested backend applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AWS Lambda functions using serverless and cloud-native AWS services.
• Write and maintain RESTful APIs, integrating with enterprise backend systems.
• Serve as a technical reference for backend development best practices across the team.
• Follow best practices across the full SDLC, including unit testing and secure coding.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines to support automated builds, testing, and deployments.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of relevant professional experience, including 4+ years in Node.js, AWS Lambda, and Python.
• Strong demonstrable experience with Node.js, Python, and AWS.
• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs for enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with unit testing libraries and API testing tools.
• Expertise in Git-based version control and Agile methodologies.
• Solid working knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, API Gateway, EC2).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and serverless architecture design.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to GenAI tools like GitHub Copilot.
• Experience with application and database level performance tuning.
