Description

You will build and maintain core backend services and cloud architecture for the platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain core backend services using Node.js.
• Design and implement APIs using AWS API Gateway and modern authentication principles.
• Develop and deploy serverless functions within the AWS ecosystem.
• Execute Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives to drive technical value.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and lead technical discussions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience with a strong focus on backend development.
• Expert-level proficiency in Node.js core backend development.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AWS services, specifically Lambda, API Gateway, and CloudFront.
• Proven experience with ElasticSearch and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Deep understanding of API design and security, including JWT, OAuth, and authentication/authorization principles.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
