Description

You will build and maintain server-side applications and scalable API architectures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side applications using Node.js.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code while optimizing for speed and scalability.
• Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews to ensure code quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Node.js development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with Express.js or similar web application frameworks.
• Proficiency with Git for version control.
• Experience with databases including MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) or microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Docker or Kubernetes.
• Understanding of web development security best practices.
