Description

Design, build, and maintain scalable, highly-available distributed services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement microservices using Node.js and TypeScript, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Build and manage event-driven architectures using Kafka and message queues for asynchronous communication.
• Optimize system performance through debugging, monitoring, and database tuning to reduce latency and improve throughput.
• Ensure high-quality technical architecture and documentation standards across all distributed components.
• Collaborate with clients and participate in Agile development cycles to deliver robust solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional coding experience with Node.js and JavaScript.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with TypeScript in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in MongoDB, including deep understanding of database internals and query optimization.
• Expertise in event-driven architecture and Kafka for message streaming and processing.
• Experience building microservices and designing distributed systems with complex data flows.
• Knowledge of authentication mechanisms including JWT, OAuth, and SSO.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS for frontend integration tasks.
• Experience with GraphQL and API gateway integrations like 3Scale.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Banking, Financial, or Fintech enterprise environments.
• Frontend experience with ReactJS (TypeScript).
