Description

You will architect, build, and scale backend services using Node.js.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop scalable backend services, APIs (REST/GraphQL), and microservices.
• Design data models and optimize database performance across SQL/NoSQL systems.
• Lead technical initiatives, including system architecture decisions, code reviews, and mentoring.
• Ensure system reliability through testing, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of production experience with Node.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript.
• Expertise with Express, NestJS, Fastify, or Koa frameworks.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB, including ORMs like Prisma or TypeORM.
• Experience building RESTful services and GraphQL APIs with security best practices.
• Designing event-driven architectures using Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Implementing caching strategies with Redis.
• Writing unit and integration tests using Jest or equivalent tools.
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
