Description

Manage the configuration, reliability, and performance of complex NoSQL database environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, test, debug, and document new and existing data components to meet operational needs.
• Own database installation, maintenance, upgrades, and patching processes.
• Manage database availability, security, integrity, and disaster recovery protocols.
• Perform performance tuning, problem analysis, and troubleshooting for high-volume transaction data.
• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to align technical direction and implement scalable data platforms.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Database, Data Management, or Engineering roles.
• 6+ years of progressive experience in high-volume/high-transaction data administration.
• 6+ years of experience managing NoSQL databases, specifically Cassandra.
• 4+ years of experience in performance tuning and database monitoring.
• Proficiency with Cassandra, MongoDB, Kafka, MQ, and RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Working knowledge of Git and Jira.
• Strong understanding of data replication, backups, and disk space utilization.

Preferred Skills

• 4+ years of experience in architecture.
