Description

You will own observability strategy, infrastructure-as-code, and platform automation for complex cloud environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain observability platforms using New Relic, including dashboards, NRQL, APM, and alerting.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and configurations using Terraform, OpenTofu, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Chef, or Ansible.
• Automate tooling and workflows using Python, Go, or Bash.
• Support microservices in SaaS contexts, ensuring robust containerization and CI/CD integration.
• Implement security best practices and compliance requirements within cloud infrastructure and pipelines.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with the New Relic platform.
• 3+ years of experience with IaC tools such as Terraform/OpenTofu, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Chef, or Ansible.
• Proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash scripting.
• Deep understanding of AWS, GCP, or Azure cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD principles.
• Experience with Windows/Linux server administration and networking.
• Ability to work in complexly regulated environments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven track record in security and compliance implementation.
