Description

You will own the observability infrastructure, ensuring system performance and minimizing downtime through proactive monitoring and incident response.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize observability infrastructure, including monitoring tools and dashboards.
• Integrate observability practices into development and deployment pipelines alongside product teams.
• Develop comprehensive monitoring strategies covering metrics, logs, and distributed traces.
• Manage alerts and lead incident response efforts to mitigate environment issues.
• Provide ongoing operational support and improve system reliability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical roles with advanced AWS environment expertise.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Zabbix, ServiceNow, or SumoLogic.
• Experience with log aggregation tools like Cribl.
• Automation and scripting proficiency in Python, Shell, or Perl.
• Implementation expertise in distributed tracing using OpenTelemetry.
• Experience with cost management tools like AWS Cost Explorer or Cloudhealth.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD and orchestration tools including Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
• AWS Certifications.
