Key Skills: Observability, SQL

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead observability strategy across metrics, logs, and traces to improve service reliability and performance.
• Implement and troubleshoot OpenTelemetry instrumentation and telemetry collection for distributed systems.
• Build and maintain Prometheus-based monitoring and Grafana dashboards, including alerting and SLO-focused views.
• Apply APM best practices using AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Datadog APM, Helix, or Instana to diagnose application issues.
• Support observability in container environments, including OpenShift or Kubernetes basics for deployment and troubleshooting.

Skills Required:

• 7 - 14 years of relevant experience in observability, monitoring, and APM
• Observability (end-to-end metrics/traces/logs mindset and delivery experience)
• APM experience with one or more: AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Datadog APM, Helix, Instana
• OpenTelemetry with Prometheus & Grafana for telemetry pipelines, dashboards, and alerting
• Container application fundamentals in OpenShift or Kubernetes for observability enablement

Good to Have:

• SQL for querying and validating telemetry/operational data

Education: Degree in Engineering/Computer Science or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
