Administer, secure, and enhance the organization's Identity and Access Management ecosystem with a focus on Okta.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Administer, support, and optimize Okta IAM platforms to ensure secure access across cloud, SaaS, and on-prem environments.
• Design and implement secure authentication and authorization flows using SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SCIM.
• Develop and maintain Okta integrations, workflows, and API-based automations for enterprise platforms like Microsoft 365, AWS, and Salesforce.
• Lead incident root cause analysis, monitor system logs, and integrate Okta with SIEM solutions for threat detection.
• Support audit activities and compliance initiatives, including evidence collection and identity control validation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• 5+ years of hands-on Okta administration and engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Okta Workforce Identity, including SSO, MFA, Lifecycle Management, and Universal Directory.
• Strong knowledge of authentication protocols: SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SCIM.
• Proven experience integrating Okta with Microsoft 365, AWS, Salesforce, and ServiceNow.
• Hands-on experience with Okta APIs, SDKs, workflows, inline hooks, event hooks, and custom expressions.
• Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with directory services including Active Directory, Azure AD, and LDAP.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills

• Okta certifications (Administrator or Consultant) and healthcare industry experience.
• Familiarity with Zero Trust models, infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Ansible), and compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC 2, NIST).
• Experience with PAM or IGA tools such as SailPoint or CyberArk.
