Senior OpenShift Engineer

You will act as a technical lead and escalation point for OpenShift infrastructure and container orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary escalation point to troubleshoot complex OpenShift issues for junior and mid-level engineers.
• Design, implement, and deliver infrastructure across OpenShift, Kubernetes, or Docker Swarm platforms.
• Mentor team members and lead technical projects involving container technologies.
• Review and interview candidates for junior and mid-level OpenShift positions.
• Automate workflows using Ansible, Perl, Bash, Shell, or Python.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with OpenShift technologies.
• 8+ years of experience managing, implementing, and upgrading Red Hat Enterprise Linux, AWS, Azure, and OpenShift environments.
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat Quay, Terraform, and Vault configuration.
• Proficiency with Linux and container platforms.
• Experience with Public, Hybrid, and On-Prem cloud environments including AWS and Azure.
• Experience with enterprise middleware such as Oracle WebLogic, IBM WebSphere, RedHat, and JBoss.
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for high-level OpenShift escalations.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of IAM, security policy, RBAC, and IT Security.
• Experience with middleware and database technologies including WebSphere Liberty, JBoss EAP, DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, or MongoDB.
