Description

You will own operational oversight for a Java-based microservices platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary escalation point for production incidents and lead response.
• Drive blameless post-incident reviews (RCAs) and implement preventive actions.
• Maintain service dashboards, alerts, and incident tooling (PagerDuty, Datadog).
• Track and reduce operational toil through automation and tooling improvements.
• Partner with development teams to ensure new services meet production readiness standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in an operations or SRE capacity.
• Expertise in Java-based microservices, Spring Boot, Kafka, and MongoDB.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms and services.
• Deep knowledge of DevOps practices and SRE principles.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Datadog, ELK, Prometheus, PagerDuty).
• Ability to lead incident response and conduct blameless RCAs.
• Strong automation, scripting, and process improvement skills.
• Understanding of compliance, security, and regulatory requirements (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
