Description

You will manage, upgrade, and support Oracle and SQL Server database environments, ensuring high availability and performance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Oracle and SQL Server databases, including upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Manage Oracle RAC and SQL Server failover clusters to ensure system integrity.
• Implement and maintain Oracle Advanced Security Options such as TDE and Key Vault.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Ansible playbooks.
• Monitor database performance and resolve issues to maintain system stability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience supporting Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Proficiency in Oracle 19c or above and SQL Server 2012 or above.
• Expertise in high availability solutions, including Oracle RAC, SQL Server failover clusters, and Always On.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Advanced Security Options, including Oracle TDE and Oracle Key Vault.
• Experience using Ansible for automation.
• Proficiency with Git, Jira, and Bamboo for version control and CI/CD tasks.
• Ability to work autonomously in a hybrid environment.
