Description

You will design, develop, and deploy secure, modular Oracle APEX applications with a focus on performance and security.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy Oracle APEX applications using a security-first mindset.
• Develop complex PL/SQL procedures, functions, packages, and triggers to support business logic.
• Optimize database objects including tables, views, indexes, and materialized views.
• Integrate applications with external systems using REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Implement and maintain SSO authentication and authorization using Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) and OCID.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of enterprise Oracle APEX development experience.
• Expert proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL with a focus on secure, performant coding.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle Database (12c, 19c or higher).
• Extensive experience with advanced APEX components such as Interactive Grids, REST-enabled SQL, and dynamic actions.
• Strong expertise integrating APEX with RESTful services, JSON, AJAX, and JavaScript.
• Proven experience implementing SSO with Entra ID (Azure Active Directory).
• High experience with GitHub and GitOps-driven workflows.
• Strong knowledge of application security frameworks, encryption, and compliance best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), specifically ExaCC.
• Hands-on expertise with CI/CD pipelines for enterprise application delivery.
• Experience developing or extending custom APEX plug-ins.
