Description

You will build and maintain modern web applications using the Oracle APEX framework within large-scale, multi-developer environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using Oracle APEX version 21.3 or higher.
• Design and implement backend database logic including packages, procedures, functions, and materialized views.
• Customize application UI and behavior using HTML, CSS, and the APEX Universal Theme.
• Collaborate with DevOps and Server administrators to troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Follow established architecture team coding standards and best practices.

Required Skills

• Minimum 4 years of experience in application development.
• Expert-level Oracle APEX development (version 21.3 or above).
• Proficiency in Oracle 11g/12c database design and development using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Strong experience with JavaScript libraries including jQuery and Oracle JET.
• Hands-on expertise with HTML and CSS for UI customization.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs using Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS).
• Deep understanding of XML, JSON, and DOM structures.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle Forms, Reports, and OBIEE reporting tools.
• Knowledge of database migration, performance tuning, and optimization in 12c environments.
• Experience with ERWIN or similar data modeling tools.
