Description

You will manage, monitor, and support Oracle database environments across OCI, AWS, and on-prem platforms. This role ensures enterprise SLAs for uptime, availability, and performance while leading cloud migration initiatives.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer multi-tenant architectures (CDB/PDB), RAC, and Data Guard configurations across hybrid environments.
• Design and manage Oracle deployments in OCI (Autonomous DB, Exadata) and AWS (EC2/RDS).
• Tune SQL, PL/SQL, and database configurations using AWR, ASH, and OEM for optimal performance.
• Implement RMAN backup strategies and maintain disaster recovery solutions to meet RPO/RTO targets.
• Develop automation using Shell, Python, Ansible, and Terraform to integrate database operations into CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on enterprise Oracle database support (versions 11g through 23c).
• Deep understanding of Linux (Red Hat/Oracle) and Shell scripting.
• Strong SQL and PL/SQL background with process, memory, and storage management expertise.
• Experience with ASM management, Data Guard, and disaster recovery planning.
• Proficiency in cloud infrastructure, specifically OCI and AWS (EC2/RDS for Oracle).
• Knowledge of security standards including TDE, patching, and access controls.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
