Description

You will manage and maintain Oracle Database environments to ensure secure, efficient, and high-availability operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, install, and configure Oracle RAC 19c environments on Exadata and Oracle Data Guard for disaster recovery.
• Administer Exadata clusters, including database upgrades and Oracle Grid Infrastructure maintenance.
• Implement quarterly security patches on Exadata RAC servers and Data Guard sites.
• Enable and support Oracle encryption across all environments using Oracle Key Vault.
• Monitor resource utilization and tune performance across all Oracle database environments.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in database administration.
• Expertise managing large-scale Oracle environments with Oracle Data Guard on Oracle Linux.
• Proficiency in Shell Scripting, Perl, and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle ASM and Oracle RAC 19c.
• Experience managing database backups and recovery using Veeam solutions.
• Strong knowledge of troubleshooting software and application problems.
• Experience with networking services and protocols including TCP/IP, SSL, SFTP, SSH, and Send mail.
• Hands-on experience supporting Oracle WebLogic and Oracle RDBMS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating databases to AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud.
