Description

You will manage and maintain large-scale Oracle database environments across on-premises and cloud infrastructures.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage multi-tenant architectures including CDB/PDB backups, restores, and upgrades from 19c to 23ai.
• Execute database upgrades and apply quarterly PSU patches using OEM fleet management and provisioning tools.
• Configure and support Oracle Fusion Middleware, WebLogic, and Oracle HTTP Server (OHS).
• Automate database tasks and job scheduling through shell scripting.
• Perform database performance tuning, SQL rewriting, and troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in Linux environments.
• Expertise in Oracle 19c production environments, including PL/SQL, OEM, RMAN, and DataGuard.
• 5+ years of experience with OracleOCI, DBaaS, and cloud shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with WebLogic (12.2.1.3/12.2.1.4/14.1.2) and Oracle OHS setup.
• Proficiency in Oracle Apex (19+) and ORDS (18+) administration.
• Advanced knowledge of data loading using SQL*Loader and Data Pump.
• Experience with database character set migration and tablespace encryption.
• Strong understanding of Linux administration for supporting application servers.
• Experience managing and upgrading Oracle Enterprise Manager 13c or higher.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with RESTful Web Services.
• Proficiency with SQL Developer, TOAD, and Grid Control tools.
• Experience managing large-scale environments in AWS or Azure.
