Description

You will manage the full lifecycle of critical Oracle Database systems in cloud environments, ensuring high availability and consistent performance. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to design, implement, and optimize database solutions.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Oracle database servers in AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud.
• Perform database tuning, performance monitoring, and proactive issue resolution.
• Plan and implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Manage database replication, high availability features, and security compliance.
• Implement and maintain database patches, upgrades, and schema optimizations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Extensive experience with Oracle 11g, 12c, and 19c in cloud environments.
• Proficient in database performance tuning and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with PL/SQL and SQL scripting.
• Familiarity with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and Data Guard.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of other database technologies like MySQL and PostgreSQL.
