Description

You will manage and maintain Oracle database environments across multiple architectures and versions.

Responsibilities

• Manage Oracle database versions 12c and 19c, including RAC, multitenant, stand-alone, and Data Guard configurations.
• Execute manual database patching, upgrades, and installation of Oracle release updates (RU) security patches.
• Optimize database performance and manage database hardware configurations.
• Automate patching workflows using the Oracle Fleet Management module.
• Provide technical leadership, problem-solving, and training for other DBAs.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of expert-level Oracle Database Administration experience.
• Expertise in Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) and SQL.
• Proficiency in scripting using shell and Perl.
• Experience with Database Lifecycle Management (DBLM).
• Hands-on management of Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC).
• Experience operating within Linux and UNIX environments, specifically RedHat and AIX.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services.
• Technical project management and leadership skills.
