Description

Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database systems to ensure stability, performance, and reliability. Own the lifecycle of database objects including tables, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Oracle database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
• Refactor and optimize existing database objects to support system enhancements and performance improvements.
• Perform database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis for production issues.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and database-related specifications.
• Collaborate with frontend, support, and database teams to resolve technical issues and support critical production systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle relational database modeling and development.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL development and database performance tuning.
• Experience with database version control tools such as VSS or equivalent.
• Proven track record supporting complex enterprise database applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with database migration and transformation projects.
• Knowledge of source control and release management practices.
