Description

You will manage and maintain Oracle databases, serving as the technical expert and escalation point for all database-related issues.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular system tuning, performance monitoring, maintenance, and backups to ensure optimal performance.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and conduct root cause analysis for database incidents, capacity issues, and replication problems.
• Ensure reliable database connectivity from applications and devices.
• Manage database user accounts and coordinate with Oracle Support to resolve technical issues.
• Create custom reports, fulfill user requests, and provide technical support as needed.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience supporting database systems.
• Expertise in Oracle Database administration.
• In-depth knowledge of database and query-tuning techniques.
• Solid understanding of SQL best practices.
• Experience with database administration in cloud environments.
• Proficiency with SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience working with AWS environments.

Preferred Skills

• AWS certification.
• PostgreSQL certification.
