Description

Own the administration, architecture, and modernization of Oracle Database environments, including cloud migration and automation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and RMAN for high availability and disaster recovery.
• Drive database cloud migration and modernization efforts across AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting, performance tuning, capacity planning, and storage management.
• Manage Oracle Golden Gate for replication, including lag/RBA monitoring and process configuration.
• Implement automation and scripting to support DevOps practices and continuous integration.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of extensive experience with Oracle Database administration and architecture.
• Deep expertise in Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and RMAN.
• Proficiency in cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, and Oracle Cloud.
• Experience with Oracle Golden Gate (Mgr, Extract, Pump, Replicate) configuration and troubleshooting.
• Strong skills in performance tuning, alert resolution (ORA errors), and OEM monitoring.
• Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with Oracle database security, user management, and schema configuration.
• Proficiency in automation, scripting, and DevOps practices.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of PostgreSQL administration.
• Experience with logical backup strategies (Data Pump/Exp).
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
