Description

You will own database capacity planning, performance optimization, and security policy implementation for Oracle environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Identify space issues and optimize objects consuming the most storage.
• Conduct database capacity planning to anticipate future storage and performance needs.
• Optimize database and dashboard performance for the team.
• Develop and implement data security policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Generate regular reports on database performance and usage.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of proven work experience as a DBA.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle database management.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries and optimize database performance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related STEM field.
• Experience with database automation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience moving databases to the cloud and driving POCs.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL.
