Description

Manage and optimize Oracle database environments across multiple operating systems. Own the full lifecycle including installation, upgrades, migrations, and change management. Execute backup and recovery using RMAN and handle user-managed recovery scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Perform performance tuning at both the database and OS levels.
• Implement and maintain database security through user, role, and privilege management.
• Plan capacity growth, manage database refreshes, and troubleshoot ORA-errors.
• Provide technical consultation to development teams and maintain documentation standards.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience as a DBA Developer.
• Expertise in PL/SQL programming and Unix Shell Scripting.
• Deep knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.
• Experience with Oracle versions 8.x, 9.x, 10.x, or newer.
• Proficiency in physical database design and capacity planning.
• System administration experience with Solaris, Unix, Linux, and Windows.
• Experience managing remote DBS support SLAs and metrics.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
