Description

Manage and optimize Oracle database environments, owning the full lifecycle from installation to migration and change management.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute backup and recovery using RMAN and handle user-managed recovery scenarios.
• Perform performance tuning at both the database and OS levels.
• Plan capacity growth, manage database refreshes, and troubleshoot ORA-errors.
• Implement database security through user, role, and privilege management.
• Provide technical consultation to development teams and maintain documentation standards.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience as a DBA Developer.
• Expertise in PL/SQL programming and Unix Shell Scripting.
• Deep knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling.
• Experience with Oracle versions 8.x, 9.x, 10.x, or newer.
• Proficiency in physical database design and capacity planning.
• System administration experience with Solaris, Unix, Linux, and Windows.
• Experience managing remote DBS support SLAs and metrics.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
