Description

You will manage the administration and lifecycle of Oracle Database 19c in secure government environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and maintain Oracle Database 19c across production, staging, and development environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies using RMAN.
• Perform proactive database performance tuning, capacity planning, and resource optimization.
• Administer security controls, including Oracle Audit Vault and Database Firewall, to meet regulatory compliance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Oracle Database Administration.
• Expertise in managing high-availability architectures, specifically Oracle Data Guard and/or RAC.
• Proficiency in scripting using Shell, SQL, and PL/SQL.
• Experience implementing and managing Oracle GoldenGate for data replication.
• Familiarity with hardening Oracle Linux OS and database environments.
• Proven experience supporting systems requiring zero data loss and high availability.
• Experience administering database security aligned with government standards.
• Proficiency using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and reporting.
