Description

You will manage and support Oracle databases to maintain data integrity, security, and stability.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement logical and physical databases of moderate to large complexity.
• Monitor and tune database performance using SQL scripts, hints, execution plans, and materialized views.
• Manage database security by administering end-user access at the database level.
• Execute database backup strategies and related data protection protocols.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Expertise in Oracle database environments.
• Proficiency in SQL and scripting.
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
• Proven ability to design physical data structures and indexing strategies.
• Experience managing database backups and disaster recovery strategies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing and advising on standards, guidelines, and procedures for the database environment.
• Experience managing the loading, upgrading, and patching of database software.
